Our Mission
At Furry Friends Animal Aid, we rescue animals that require immediate attention from abandonment, cruelty, illness, or neglect. Our volunteers are prompt in response and experienced in animal care. We answer every call for rescue and do everything within our capability to save them and ultimately get them adopted into their responsible, forever homes. We started in Houston, TX, but our goal is to expand and reach every animal through our partners. We are a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization. EIN:87-1440177
Our History
Furry Friends Animal Aid was created by Chandni Patel, who has always been an animal lover. Her friends and family knew of her passion, so when they found a homeless cat they would call her and ask for her help. After many years of helping those who called, she decided to take the plunge and set up a non-profit. She wanted to have the opportunity to protect and give these homeless animals a place to call home. She also knows the joy and pleasure in having pets of her own. She has five cats and two dogs that bring her so much joy, they are her family. Knowing that she can bring unconditional love into someone’s home and giving these animals a healthy, happy life, is the utmost fulfilling feeling in the world.
